3D2C CQWWRTTY

The general problem with Dx-peditions  like 3D2C  There is only 1 dx mostly weak  but there are many idiots around just waiting for such event.  Like tonight at 40m  no clear frequency longer then a few seconds before the next  QRI starts 3d2c 40m zoo A very weak signal  that can easily be jammed  from somewhere in EU? were those  lids hide. And always around prime time  sunset the xyl has plans to go somewhere. Since I already spent so much time in the shack this is not  unreasonable but the end effect is  I wasted my radio time. Like this weekend spend quite a lot time in the CQWWRTTY 305 QSO  mostly S&P  10meters Best propagation was on Saturday 10m was real good. Sunday was not as good bands ended early in Major storm conditions all signals sounded auroral. Some difficult QSO's I had using  K3 100W  "low power"   and  dipole  should have been with the Steppir  of course. The log filled with DX mostly 10m   lot of JA.   Some pileups where too tough

3D2C Conway reef

3D2C 28.495  heard/wkd  with dipole  N/S   15m was relative easy  21.020 cw But 30m weak  and jammers plus even worse the "police" making clear copy almost impossible. 3D2C 10.105 jamming as usual Friday 28025  539 QSO not possible here  long time copy Why I had to get the 599 fro 3D2C I have no reasonable explanation. But after  many many calls in the log at 12:15 finally.. Back to the radio after few hours break. Still hearing them 529 539 not strong but also not much weaker then hours before. Just happen to catch them with Aart PA3C  also heard calling long time.  Just before the signal definite faded out  afther 4 hours being a good Q5 S 1-3  that was special anyway for 10M  to Oceania. The data QRM  was gone most tuners where gone.  Who would start a data QSO  experiment  in the middle of the CW part and then exact on top of  3D2C  ??  while there is so much free space on 28??     later in  evening at 10.105  a remarkable good signal of 3D2C CQ

Still running WSPR remote  now from OM  Trencianske Tepice  JO70FC34 My only radio activity last weeks is WSPR.  remote controlled to switch day/night bands But I have never been so present on the bands in my radio live ..   7x24  1 year now.  28MHz  DP0GVN from Antarctica  many reports from EU

28 MHz propagation still improving ...

WAESSB / 10m week report WSPR

WAESSB    Sunday  on 10m only. hard to work 25 Q  thats the minimum  QSO count needed score 1 point  for our district competition.   Only outside EU QSO's count. I was running low power and a dipole. Poor signals  mostly S.A.  Later in the afternoon 24 QSO S&P needed 1 more for a point but signals seemed to fade. WD4Z t he only N-A weak heard . But when  returned after dinner surprise!  some strong Stateside signals on the band suddenly.
